A veces
paula robles nettel

A veces,

fuera placentero

A veces,
cuando me encuentras callada, muy callada
no me he ido lejos de ti

Sometimes
paula robles nettel

Sometimes
when you find me quiet, very quiet
not even a sigh can be heard,
to a faraway country
from the present bustle I flee,
at that moment,
when my absent eyes you find
and the expression of your face doubt manifest

Let me be far away, let me be there
do not call me from here, let me be there
in the minute where I meet my melancholy
where I stumble with my quiet yearns
of my desires surrounded by jealousy

And all these inside of me
that burns with and without fire
and not even myself
who is the flame understands
that the breath I blow fires my torment
as if burning in it was pleasant

Sometimes
When you find my quiet, very quiet
I have not gone away from you,
it is only that I carry in me so much, too much
I cannot nor want to let go
wait for me,
that the moment will arrive
when I return to you
quiet, very quiet
bringing my lost glance back to you
so you can dress me in your blue
slowly and carefully
with the trousseau that belongs to our day
and with your endearment
that saves me from the abyss
of the implacable instant
of my melancholies
