When flowers last longer than a week

In plain daylight
paula robles nettel

I cannot leave like this
the house still has our mess
one leaves when things are in  place
when flowers last longer than a week
and dust is nowhere to be seen.
One leaves when there is hope
slightly greater than the sorrows known
for those who stay and go.
One leaves in plain daylight
with tears and hugs goodbye
with good wishing loving hearts,
one leaves looking in the eyes
when there is love in letting go
for there is love in letting go
for there is love in letting go
